Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress. Her debut on screen was in her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic for which she won the British Academy Television Award for the Best actress. The actress is fluent in French, German and English. Her mother played the violin, Her father is a theatre professor at one of Romania's top acting schools. The Young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. She was awarded the title of European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. She taught for 4 seasons at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria is a Romanian Actress born 01 April 1978 in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress with Romanian descendance was the first actress to screen in the Canadian-British television drama Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress in the film for this performance. The actress's debut film, Sex Traffic was awarded the award of British Academy Television for Best Actress. She also received several awards for her role in 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days, a Romanian film that was highly praised by the London Film Critics as the best films of 2007. The actress acted as a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 months 3 weeks and two days (four months three weeks and two days) that was honoured with the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. The film also featured her in the Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. She was Yasim Awar in BBC's 5-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca appeared in an episode of the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's acclaimed Five Minutes of Heaven. Her next film was a big role in the 2014 film Fury in which she played a German woman, named Irma aunt of Emma.
