Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini, a businessman. She is of Italian, German (from the paternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descent. Linda, California's youngest child was raised in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. Her interest in acting began as a ten year old, after she was a singer in a Christmas production at school. She performed in school plays and local community theatre. Linda went to Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. When she graduated she had to make an option. She was unsure if she should go to New York and pursue theatre or Los Angeles in order to learn about film and television? She chose LA. Linda was chosen for her debut role on the series Bone Chillers (1996). Freaks and Geeks, 1999 was her most memorable performance. Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning show.

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) more popularly known as her stage name Lily James, is an English actor from England. Her professional career started in 2010, with the British television show Just William, in which she attended London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Cinderella (2015) became her first feature film, following the role she played the role of Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey, the period television drama. James was later cast as the the Countess Natasha Rostova, in the television version of War & Peace, in 2016 and starred several films. This includes the action movie Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again 2018 and Yesterday (2019). Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson in the biographical show Pam & Tommy (2022) earned her nominations for an Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
