She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th July 1983. Her first job after school was that of an agent for real estate. It was here that she got to know Tarek. They ran a successful business until 2008 when real estate agents, house flippers, and others went bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa, and Christina El Moussa lost the majority of their assets as a result of the 2008 market crash. They moved from a home that cost $6,000 per month, to an apartment costing $700 a month. Slowly, their business as well as the economy overall recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 requested a colleague to help him create an HGTV tape that showed Christina as well as him flipping an entire house from beginning to end. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. They were enthralled by Christina and Tarek's love story. They signed an official contract with HGTV in 2012. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013, In seven seasons, the show aired from 2013 to 2017. Christina and Tarek were shown buying houses typically within Orange County. After spending many weeks making improvements, they would flip them in order to earn profits. Tarek concentrates more on remodeling and demolition while Christina is in charge of design.
